We advise that before you upgrade, you remove your old application.
The first time you launch your freshly upgraded application it may take some extra time to download all your data sets, standards, and other data. If your application gives you a time out error set it to 2 minutes(or forever) and let it run it's process. If you feel you need to force quit the application, you should go thru the uninstall - reinstall process.
Make sure you quit your application
Find where your ProofPass.com client application is located (probably /Applications)
Move the application to the trash
Log into your ProofPass.com account
Use the links in the center of the page to download the correct application for your spectrophotometer and operating system
Double click the file you downloaded to mount it. Your web browser may automatically mount the disk image you downloaded
Drag and drop the ProofPass.com application icon to your application directory
Make sure you quit your application
Open the Add/Remove Programs control panel (Start > Settings > Control Panels)
Log into your ProofPass.com account.
Use the links in the center of the page to download the correct application for your spectrophotometer and operating system.
Launch the installer application you downloaded
Follow the directions in the wizard to install the application
